Dairy is not good for humans. Period. It is meant for calves and not people. The authors have done the reader a great disservice by preaching this false information. Shame on them.

Raw beef and liver recipes? Yuck. . . . . that is what you will find in here. The ideas are definitely interesting, and some of it is dead on, and others I question. But, there are some good recipes in here, just steer clear of the raw meat and seafood and you should be good, lol. . . . . .

Ask any cardiologist or physician and they will assure you that animal fats and cholesterol are NOT healthy components of a good diet. In fact, any cardiologist will tell you that the more animal fats you eat, the more at risk you are for heart disease, cancer, and other deadly diseases. This book recommends that you eat tons of fat (butter, cheese, milk, meat) regularly. Seriously, how can you think this is a healthy diet?! It’s not. For someone wanting to loose weight and/or get healthy, stay away from this book. Not to mention that the book suggests you go to ridiculous lengths to prepare the food you eat. . . unless you have tons of spare time and a death wish, stay away from this book.

IF you want to check out REAL health advice, look into Dr. Dean Ornish’s books. He’s a cardiologist and has written tons of books that are proven to help people loose weight, reduce cholesterol, reverse heart disease, and gain overall health. And, he’s a doctor, not a quack nutritionist.

Some friends had referenced some recipes and ideas from this book, so I got a copy. I’m totally underwhelmed. The attitude and tone of the book, starting with the pergorative “Diet Dictocrats” put me off to anything good that may have been found within it.

I did find it interesting to find a recipe for the Russian fermented drink, Kvas.

This woman is an ENGLISH MAJOR! She is not a scientist. She is not a doctor. She writes recipes. She self-references. She has completely bogus “research”. Her coterie of the like-minded reference each other ad nauseum. Her guru? Dr. Weston Price – a DENTIST. (And his “research” is completely faulty!)

There is not one piece of legitimate research in her book.

Anyone who is states that high cholesterol is good for you, surely has no knowledge of what QUALIFIED medical scientists tell you.

Use her recipes, but take EVERYTHING else with a grain of – er – sea salt. lol. . . . .
